Vox Arts and Literary Journal, the Pace University Westchester Campus, is a student-run literary journal that accepts submissions of quality original fiction, poetry, artwork and photography. Work from any Pace University students, faculty, staff, and alumni are eligible for consideration.
Vox Publications exists for the purpose of publishing the original fiction, poetry, prose, artwork and photography of the students at Pace University’s Pleasantville campus. Vox which is Latin for “voice” provides a medium through which students can creatively express themselves.
The purpose of our online counterpart is to provide a space for works which, for stylistic or technical reasons, are separate from the offerings of our printed journal. Aside from providing another outlet for our standard fare (poems, prose, artwork), this online component seeks to incorporate works such as essays, opinion pieces, reviews, short film, music etc. Essentially, we seek to give a platform to mediums traditionally neglected by print media.
Unlike our printed journal, which is released on a specific launch date, our online journal is meant to be updated regularly and we accept submissions all semester long. Any potential submissions are welcome at vox@pace.edu. Please be sure to specify within your email whether the piece you are submitting is meant for print or online.
